Just a note to advise you of a new release simply entitled "THE SELECTION COLLECTION "-- its a cd of all of my original songs that I've recorded over the last 30 years. There is a good balance of variety on the cd with Rodeo songs,Truck songs,Bush Ballads and Love songs and its something that I have wanted to do for quite a while. Thanks must go to Selection Records boss Eric Watson for his involvement and help in my career over the last 3 decades . CD'S are available from One Stop Entertainment outlets and of course from home at Box 491 Kyabram 3620 . $28.00 will cover all costs.

A few other snippets of news while I'm at it. THE ALL-STAR COUNTRY SHOW is on the move later this month with Owen Blundell, Sharon Benjamin, Craig Giles,Frankie Spencer and yours truly appearing at Golden Hills Motel Bendigo on Thurs 19 November , Benalla Bowling Club on Fri 20 ,Goulburn Railway Bowling Club on Sat 21 and Wagga Wagga Commercial Club on Sun arvo 22------- for booking details give any of the fore mentioned clubs a ring.

Very nice to hear from the Gidgee Coal Bush Ballad Awards Committee to advise me that the album "AUSSIE BALLADEER " released in Oct '08 has made it into the finals in 3 different sections of the awards, namely Best Bush Ballad Album, Best Male Vocal , and Best Comedy Song of the year. Unfortunately the awards clash with the all-star weekend and it"s not possible to attend---- but it"s great to be a part of it. Dot and I have just come back from 3 weeks in New Zealand where we did numerous shows around the South Island ---- wonderful place friendly people and magnificient scenery---- a very big thanks to Bruce and Glenda for thier help and hospitality. Christmas is coming closer and I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous 2010 cheers for now Reg.
